Often when a family is moving abroad, there is concern about the impact of the relocation on the children. Leaving home and friends to go to what seems a strange new land can be overwhelming.
A "kids in transition" program for ages 6 to 12 helps children understand the move, and make a smooth transition to a new home and family life in another country.
The overall goal is to help the children learn about the differences between their home country and the host culture.
Our program helps to make sense out of their new environment and identify strategies to build a happy, balanced life abroad by working through anxieties and fear of the unknown.
