Program Overview
Kids in Transition
THIRD CULTURE KIDS
Often when a family is moving abroad, especially for the first time, there is concern about the impact of the relocation on the children. Leaving home and friends to go to what seems a strange new land can be overwhelming. In order to help children understand the move, and make a smooth transition to a new home and family life in another country,
CONSULTus has designed a children’s intercultural program for those ages 6 and older. The overall goal is to help the children learn about the differences between their home country and the one to which they are going. Our program helps to make sense out of their new environment and identify strategies to build a happy, balanced life abroad by working through anxieties and fear of the unknown.
