Mr. Ralf Torsten Zitterbart
Ralf Torsten Zitterbart, a German national, has a formal education as an industrial manager and has a masters in Sinology with a focus on economy and political science. Scholarships by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the Fu Jen University in Taipeh, Taiwan enhanced his language abilities and personal experience in dealings within Chinese culture on top of his already existing academic knowledge.
Mr. Zitterbart has assisted with the organisation of Chinese Delegations to Germany and his practical experience was put to use (on numerous occasions) as an interpreter on behalf of corporations dealing with representatives of the Chinese economy.
For many years Mr. Zitterbart has extensively travelled throughout Asia and accompanied travel study groups on their exploratory tours through the Peoples Republic of China, Hong Kong, Pakistan and Russia.
Whilst researching themes for his dissertation on negotiation conflicts between Germans and Chinese, Mr. Zitterbart successfully conducted multiple day cross-cultural workshops on -working with the Chinese,- negotiating with the Chinese,- intercultural conflict management and knowledge transfer when working with Chinese partners.
Also workshops were hosted in the Mandarin language on behalf of Chinese staff (co-workers) on (short term) assignments to Germany focussing on (the) German culture, German communication style and intercultural teambuilding.
Mr. Zitterbart is fluent in Chinese, German and English.
His flexibility, thorough preparation and excellent communication skills make it a pleasure to work with Mr. Zitterbart.
